Residential Family Education and Support
Because Addiction is a family disease, New Beginnings Minnesota highly encourages family members to be involved in the patient’s Residential Treatment and Recovery process.
It has been determined that substance abuse by one addict affects ten other people and family education and support helps rebuild healthy relationships as part of the recovery process. New Beginnings currently offers family programming for all patients. Each family programming and education session is scheduled individually through the patient’s primary Mental Health Professional. To schedule a session call New Beginnings MN at 763.658.5800.
Family educational and support topics include: disease progression; family response to the illness; communication skills; patient relapse prevention and the continuum of patient care planning.
