May 10, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm$35
This 6 CEU training was designed to train our new staff about opiate addiction and prepare them to work with patients in a long-term MAT program. Due to the explosion of opiate dependence, we have had numerous requests to make this training available to behavioral health and medical professionals.
You will learn critical information about MAT covering everything from philosophy through pharmacology. We will teach you what you need to know to work effectively with patients in MAT programs. Help you understand what the medications do and don’t do. How we determine which medication to use. We’ll explore some myths and discuss why MAT is considered the most effective treatment for opiate addiction. Bring your toughest questions and your most difficult cases so everyone can learn.
